Nintendo has announced that they plan on upgrading the DS. They'll be adding a camera, mp3 capability, and enhanced wireless service.

Kind of an iffy move if you ask me. The more features you add, the more things there are to break. But having music on a DS would be great. Just pop in an SD card and go. I think the camera is kinda pushing it, but hey, it's up to Nintendo.

Indeed; they are trying to make them universally used. They already have available places in baseball stadiums where DS users can participate in quizzes and view statistics. They plan on having flight details available at airports as well. I definitely like the idea of music on the DS; it's something I've been wanting for a while now.
